Chapter 4 Hello Again In Real Life Love

As she walked out of class Rachel sighed, "its getting late I should head back home." she thought. Walking back to her car, she sensed him watching her again. 

"How long are you gonna stalk me Dark?" she said in her mind finally annoyed at the constant irking feeling of being watched. 

Dark chuckled as he replied to his preys mere request. "you have a high resistance to my influence darling I find that highly attractive all things considering." 

Rachel bit back a laugh as she entered her car and replied to the demon of shadows. "That's because I know exactly what you are and it doesn't scare me in the least" she said casually as she drove onto the freeway ignoring the demon until she got home.  

"Oh come now darling you ignored me the entire way here." Dark said in a teasing tone.

Rachel sighed as she entered her home. "For good reason. If I didn't I would have crashed the car because I wasn't paying attention." she replied curtly. 

Dark chuckled "Now would that have been so bad?" he teased. 

Rachel mentally wanted to glare at the demon as she replied. "Yes. Yes it would have been bad. I enjoy my life to live thank you very much." she said as she climbed the stairs to her room making sure to steer clear of her mother the entire day. 

"Why do you avoid your mother darling?" Dark probed the question from the void of Marks soul and watched from the shadows as the girl flopped down on her bed. 

"Because she is one hell of a bitch that I hate." she replied almost pissed off at the fact the demon was probing through her thoughts. "She is one of the few people I actually would not mind being dead really." 

Dark was taken by surprise at this, the rage and fury that the seemingly innocent girl was emulating actually surprised him. "Truly. Would you be willing to trade power to actually commit the deed" he said as he tried to take advantage of her.

Rachel released a bark of laughter as she replied to Dark. "Like my soul? Nope no deal there. Nothing in the whole world would make me do that." she said casually 

Dark was taken aback by her answer "You truly are an interesting woman my dear most would have succumbed to their troubles by now and asked for my aide." 

Rachel sighed a bit as she got her computer out and did her homework. "I like to consider myself a bad ass thank you very much." she said with a chuckle 

As she finished her work Dark noticed that the girl seemed to have a sad look in her eyes. "Whats wrong darling?" Why would it pain him to see her sad?  Why is there a pain in his being to protect her? 

Rachel smiled pained as she replied "You would be the first to know my heart....but I just....I guess.....it feels like I am not alone anymore and that makes me happy." she said as she honestly replied to him. 

Dark's essence actually flickered within the shadows as he felt her honesty. "You should not tell me this darling what if I decide to destroy you with it?" he said stiffly as he threatened her the feeling in his hosts chest foreign to him. 

Rachel smiled a bit wryly. "If you wanted me dead you would have already done it by now." she said as she replied before opening the game and the invite that Mark had sent her. 

Dark went silent as he watched her. "You are a very intelligent perceptive human darling." he said admitting defeat for now.  

As Rachel opened the discord server as Mark's voice was on the other end. 

"Hey Rachel. Glad you could join us." 

Rachel smiled a bit at the sound of her friends voice. "Yeah I am glad I was able to homework was huge tonight." she said the honest truth. "So what we playing today?" 

Mark grinned "Dead by Daylight." 

Rachel almost laughed a bit as she heard the name of the game. "Oh gods. I'm so gonna die if your the killer the first round." 

Mark chuckled and for a moment Dark took control of him "Heh well I am gonna enjoy killing you in the first round Rachel." he said as the game loaded he chose the killer known to them as the ding dong killer. 

Rachel smirked as she thought strategically on what to do. "I need to disable the traps he sets and evade Mark for the entire time of the game" she thought as she spoke into the microphone on her headset. "Hey Jack can I rely on you to get the generators done? I have a plan" she said to Jack who was on the other end of the line. 

Jack replied "sure."

Looking at their surroundings Rachel was relieved that the map was the asylum. "Oh this is gonna be fun" she said as she had her female character move around as he began to disassemble the hooks nearby. "Jack you working on a generator?" 

"Yeah. I almost bumped into Mark." Jack replied as he worked on one of the nearby generators. 

Rachel laughed as she finished disabling the  first hook before heading to the center hooks her sneaking perk was activated within the game as she snuck her way to the center and noticed Jack. 

"Jack you see what I am doing?" she said as she disabled the first out of four hooks in the center. 

"Oh my god. Thats brillient!"he said as he saw Mark enter the room. 

"Ohhh whats going on in here Jack?" Mark said sarcastically as he noticed Jack and Rachel in the same center of the room. 

Rachel gasped in shock "Shit RUN!" she said as she suddenly dashed out of the center of the room and up to the upstairs room laughing as she smirked under her breath. 

Jack dodged his friend as he tried to reason with the killer "Mark. Common Mark I barely had a generator made." he whined

Mark grumbled "fine only if you sell Rachel out." 

Jack sighed from the other side "She is upstairs."

Mark grinned on the other end of the microphone "Alright little buddy I'll let you live for now."

Rachel smirked a bit as Mark came up the stairs before leaping down a hole to avoid being seen and running as far as she could to the next hook on her to do list. Finding another one by the exit she began to disable it and was amused when she heard Mark growl. "Jack were are you she is not up here?" he said annoyed "I'm gonna kill you when I find you Jack." he said a bit of insanity leaking out of his facade. 

Jack was far away from Mark as he replied. "Well maybe she escaped you when I ratted her out." 

Rachel snickered "Guilty as charged." she said as she finished disabling the hook. 

Mark growled "I am so gonna hang you up on a hook when I find you Rachel." 

From the other end of the mic Rachel heard Jack chuckle as she replied "Good luck I am a Ninja!" she said as she dashed across the map to find another hook. "Hey Jack how are those generators coming?"

Jack smiled a bit as he finished the third generator. "I just need one more." 

Rachel smirked as she checked for any other hooks that needed to be broken. "Alright I will buy you some time." she said as she spotted one last and final hook in the center that she had missed and began to disable it. "So you find the final generator?" she said as she noticed  Mark coming towards her. 

Jack replied "Yeah I just finished it." 

Rachel smirked as she finished disabling the last hook. "Same on my end." she said "And guess what I found Mark." she said as she dashed to the side. "get the door opened Jack!" she yelled as she ran. 

Mark laughed insanely as he chased after Rachel. "Come here Rachel I won't bite." 

Rachel laughed as she jumped out a window. "Yeah I am gonna run now." she said as she continued the chase with Mark before finally stopping. 

Mark chuckled "Do you give up?" 

Smirking  the female gamer smiled "Yeah I give in" she said as Mark picked her up. "Wow Mark your forward when it comes to picking a girl up." she said joking a bit. 

Mark laughed into the microphone. "You darling are gonna remain with me forever." It was at this point Dark was in control of Mark's body as he heard the girl named Rachel respond back. 

"Heh, I am flattered but your not gonna be able to hook me." she said smirking a bit as she attempted to wiggle free. 

Mark suddenly became suspicious as to what Rachel was saying when he found a hook he tried to hook her onto it but found the hook was broken and it finally dawned on him. "you broke all the hooks didn't you?" he said a bit surprised that she managed to do that. 

Rachel laughed. "So what are you going to do killer?" she said as she wiggled free. 

Mark chuckled as he watched her escape "I will let you live. So Jack was the one working on the generators this entire time while you worked on the hooks." 

Looking at the supposed killer Rachel smirked for a moment before doing something. "And virtual kiss." she said as she tapped the killer on the face an running away. "FREEDOM!" with that she spoke to Jack. "Hey Jack did you get a door opened?" 

Jack laughed on the other end as replied "Yeah and I was spectating this entire thing." 

"You left me?!" Rachel nearly laughed as she tried to escape a pursuing Mark. "SHIT" she said trying to run. Sadly Mark had a huge friend the chainsaw. 

"Your gonna get stranded Rachel muahahahahhahahahaha" he cackled as  he swung the giant chainsaw across to slash down on Rachel's shoulder. 

"Nope. Nopity NOPE!" Rachel yelled as she jumped through a window seeing the open door. "I will be freed!" she said as she tried to exit the map that was until she was hit again with the chainsaw again knocking her down. "Dammit" she said as she tried to crawl to the exit now. 

Mark chuckled as he looked down at the girl with the chosen killer. "Well I have to give you credit 

Rachel for a noobie at this game you managed to live for this long but now you die." 

Rachel growled as she saw the chainsaw aimed for her character "Common I just need to inch." she said to herself as her hand reach the boarders and over the line. "Almost there..." 

Mark chuckled as he stabbed his chainsaw into her. "Now you will be mine forever." 

Jack meanwhile was watching this  replied "wow that was intense Mark." he said as he watched this happen. 

Rachel almost could feel the pain as well as she smirked a bit "Nice game guys." she said stretching a bit and looking to the time of the clock on her computer. "Shit I need to get to bed people." she said as she smiled a bit. 

Mark smiled in return as he replied "It was good playing with you darling." Dark still longed to hear her voice as he heard her say goodbye. 

"Later guys thanks for the footage." Rachel said as she saved her game, closed discord, and shut her computer off finally mentally tired as she changed into her pjs and got ready for bed. 

"Going to bed so early in the night darling?" said a familiar voice within the shadows. 

Rachel sensed Dark's presence even before she heard his voice approach her from behind his hot breath making her blush as he wrapped his arms around her arms to prevent her from lifting them.

Dark chuckled as he held the strong female against his hosts body. "I missed you darling. Did you hear me when we spoke within the game?" he said as he trailed a kiss on her neck. 

Rachel blushed before nodding. "Yeah. I heard you and was tipped off when you said darling." she said as she held still not out of fear but because she still was not afraid of him. "I know you." she said as she turned around to face the demon that had watched her from the shadows. 

Dark chuckled as he stared into the emerald irises that stared back at him "And who am I Rachel?" he said as he tilted her head up to meet his own pitch black and red irises. 

Rachel just stood there looking up at Dark's pitch black and red irises as she replied to his question. "You are Darkiplier basically the Mr. Hyde version of Mark." she said casually.  

Dark chuckled as he leaned over and took the girls lips into his own. "That I am darling and now you are forever mine." with that quip the demon of shadows pulled the green eyed female against him as he kissed her again within her home. 

Rachel gasped as he kissed her blushing red as she yielded wrapping her arms around his neck slowly. 

Dark smirked as he nuzzled into the crook of her neck "I shall forever protect you darling. If ever you need me say my name and I shall be there to help you." with that and one last kiss the demon vanished and returned back into the shadows leaving a very flustered Rachel in the center of her room. 

"Heh that flirt." she thought before climbing into bed and falling asleep.
