Chapter 5: Our Demons

Rachel growled at herself as she recalled what had happened yesterday. It pissed her 

off greatly that Dark had been able to get to her heart and under her skin through flirting and silencing her with a kiss as if she belonged to him. "I am not a thing." she said out loud.  

"Dammit I need to vent" she said to herself as she took notice of one of her wooden practice swords. 

"Yup. That will do." she thought to herself as she walked out into the backyard  with two wooden swords in hand her best weapons of skill and choice. 

Anti watched from above on the girls roof as she walked outside with two wooden practice swords. 

"Hmmm what are you doing with those little girl." he said to himself. 

Rachel closed her eyes as she felt the wind blow through the trees taking her headphones out she plugged them into her ears as she listened to the metal that made her swords instinctively move as she imagined her opponent in front of her each slash as deadly as the next. One of her swords managed to stab into the fake manikin's gut while the other slashed off the neck of the dummy. 

Anti chuckled "Are you intending to kill that poor dummy?" he said as he leaped down from the roof and landed next to Rachel.   

Rachel sighed as she removed her headphones from her ears. "Not really the intent was to vent at the fool." she said casually to anti who she noticed was looking at her curiously. "What?" 

Anti looked at the girl as she stared up at him. "Heh he was right. You have no fear." Anti said as walked up behind the girl and allowed his claws to trail up the wound that he had created when he had first seen her. "Heh a tough little bitch is what you are." he said as he sensed her tense up. 

Rachel kept her guard up as Anti circled her she dared not keep her back faced towards him lest he attack her with her guard down. 

Anti chuckled a bit amused "Your smart as well interesting." he said a devilish smirk on his face. 

"You didn't let your guard down like most girls. Interesting." 

Rachel could almost feel a growl form in her throat as she glared at Anti. "Only a fool would do that." she said to him as he continued to circle. 

"And yet here you are a fool." Anti said as he lunged forwards his claws swiping at the girls chest. 

Rachel leaped out of the way of his hand as she swung one of her wooden swords hard making contact with the clawed hand. "no I am no fool." she said as she dodged his attack. 

Anti laughed clearly amused. "Oh but you are. This is so amusing to see you not understand" 

Something inside Rachel snapped from the irritation as she glared at Anti the wind began to pick up she breathed out clearly pissed but restraining her anger and keeping it in check. "Really if I am the fool care to enlighten me what you seem to find so fucking amusing?" she said as she watched the other stare at her clearly amused. 

"Look at yourself for once little girl and you will realize it." Anti said as he smirked and took notice of the girls green eyes flicker to a pitch black with red. 

Rachel glared at Anti still unable to understand what he meant. 

"Your a Demon like us."  she heard his voice in her head as she buckled over in pain. "What? How?" 

Rachel opened her eyes as she stood up feeling dizziness overtake her. "I refuse to believe that"  she thought as she stood up her eyes blurring. "Oh hell no." she thought as she collapsed. 

"ANTI!!!!!!!!!!!!" A furious voice yelled as Dark appeared out of the shadows and noticed Rachel laying collapsed on the hard concrete his eyes flickering a smoky red as he disappeared and pushed Anti up against the cement drywall of her home a low growl escaping his throat. "What the hell did you do to her?"  he said as he took notice of Anti smirking with manic glee. 

Anti just smirked a bit as he nodded over to Rachel's knocked out state "I revealed to her what she truly was a demon. It seems your so called human was to weak to even handle the truth." 

Rachel heard this and growled as she stood up slowly her eyes had swapped to a pitch black with red irises as she calmly levitated Anti up into the air. 

Mark watched as Rachel actually levitated Anti into the air with her abilities. 

"So I am a demon. Heh cool." she said calmly as she walked over to Anti and socked him hard in the face. Blasting him backwards into the sky. "Eighth hole corner pocket."  she said as Anti went flying she felt a pair of strong arms wrap around her and shut her eyes by force.  (XD I couldn't help it SPN reference take a guess who says it) 

"Calm down darling" Dark's voice said as he kept her eyes closed."I apologize I never meant for you to find out this way." 

Rachel suddenly felt her sight return to normal and felt something spill from the side of her eyes. 

Tears actually tears were falling as she turned around and buried her face into Dark's shoulder. She felt his hand stroke through her hair as she tried to calm down. 

 Dark sighed as he held her. "I thought I told you to call my name if you were in danger.." he said attempting to control his rage and worry. 

Rachel took in a breath. "I ...just didn't want to bother you with a petty argument." she said as she replied honestly. "I don't like those I care about fight my battles for me." 

Dark chuckled as he nuzzled into the crook of Rachel's neck. "So you do care about me then." he smirked teasing her. 

Rachel lightly punched his arm "You tease." she said as her eyes returned to their normal shade of light green. 

Dark chuckled "So your powers are awakened." 

Rachel sighed as she looked down at her hands then closed her eyes. "Watch out ten o clock* as she said it Anti came flying down towards her as a force field erupted surrounding the house. 

Anti growled "Awe common let me in Rachel." 

Rachel smirked before looking to Dark. "Mind if  I indulge myself for a bit he did call me weak." 

Dark chuckled a bit amused at the fact that Rachel had a cocky side to her. "But then again" he thought she was always cocky.  "Be careful darling Anti is pretty unstable." 

Nodding to Dark Rachel took one of the swords that she had been training with and the wood turned into steel. "Alright Anti you wanted to see me a demon well here I am!" she yelled as she leaped into the air and sliced downward with enough force that only Anti was hit but not enough to destroy the neighborhood. Anti's body crash landed into the hard concrete with a hard thud as blood came out of his mouth. 

"Son of a bitch....you cocky lil..urp~" Anti's voice was cut off as a huge scythe appeared in Rachel's hand and was at his throat. 

"One touch of this scythe will remove you by force from your host Anti. Want to test me?" Rachel said as she glared at Anti laying on the ground. 

Anti just laughed as he put his hands up in surrender before disappearing off into the shadows. "Well played Rachel well played." 

As Anti finally disappeared Rachel collapsed back onto the hard concrete. "Heh I guess I am pretty weak and pathetic." she whispered as Dark rushed over and helped her up. 

"You over did it again Darling." he said as he picked her  up bridal style. "Come now. I will get you to bed." 

Rachel closed her eyes as Dark carried her to her room. "Thanks....Darkiplier...." she said his full name as she heard him intake a breath. 

"Your welcome Rachel." he said looking down at the woman in his arms. "Dammit Anti and your antics." he muttered as he lay Rachel down on her bed and tucked her in. "Rest for now. I will reveal everything to you when you wake up." he said as he disappeared into the shadow plane to stalk Antiscepticeye down.
